To quote Heath Ledger from The Dark Knight:
"...and here... we... go."
Thank you to my good friend @weare2mariners for offering to take up the task of posting a proper trailhead for Narrator Productions. From the cast and crew, we thank you. We had decided early on not to force one, but to wait until it happens more-or-less 'organically'. This worked perfectly, so again, Thank You.

We finished the filming for Video 4 early this morning. It is finally being rendered in after-effects as I type this. I found myself making a huge rookie mistake today. Shooting without cleaning your camera lens first. Unfortunately it slightly shows too. Nice one Jake. It is with a very sheepish grin that I add it to a list of things to do upon arrival on the set.
I want to invite you guys to follow my personal twitter account @perilous_loop. It is very much related to this blog (out-of-game of course) and I promise not to spam your feed with RT junk.

Video #3 is up.
We've been getting a lot of work done on NP lately. I hope you guys enjoy video 3 that was uploaded about an hour ago. I will hopefully setting out the trailhead in the coming week. I just want to be absolutely sure that NP makes a good first impression. It's kind of uncharted territory though which both scares and comforts me. We have a chance to make a big impact being the first The Choir vlog, and I want to make absolutely sure that we do. I'm trying to make sure the effects are subtle, necessary, and done with purpose and reason. I guess I'm kind of burnt out on effects from Slender Man series' so I would rather use minimal effects and let the story speak more for itself. I guess that's just my style though...
Meeting up with the guys tomorrow to iron out some details. We are still trying to find our 'groove' so to speak. Things like character development, and scripting vs improv are hot button issues with our group at the moment. Things are definitely different for me this time around. Josh and Greg are really not alike. Josh is very much confused, stressed out, and cowardly. Greg is more brave-but-unmotivated, and... sleepy?

The Demise of Gregory Sleeps Part 1
I wanted to write this post to kind of show how things fall apart. Have you seen that YouTube video where the guys put all those rubber bands around a Watermelon until it explodes in a red catastrophe?
Well that was like Gregory Sleeps. We had a juicy delicious watermelon of a plot, but all the little things one at a time kept piling up until the project was ultimately cancelled. I want to say for the record, that GS was one of the best experiences of my life and as cliched as it may sound, I learned a lot about myself by filming. If you have ever been a puppet master or spent time in front of a camera, you know what I mean.
So the events. What it really boiled down to was Matthew needed to move away. If you have seen the show, you know that Matthew was an essential character. He was 2/4. He was an amazing actor. I couldn't imagine the game without him. I mulled it over a while and came to the conclusion that the series absolutely could not continue without Matthew. Now I don't mean to blame him for anything. People have lives to live right? He would have been miserable if he stayed.
So then what to do? The game was a joint ownership. We had to call it off unfortunately, and the world will never know our engenius plot!

Welcome
Hello there. My name is Jacob Harris and I play Josh for the Alternate Reality Game called Narrator Productions; and also played Greg in a game called Gregory Sleeps. I have decided to create this blog for a few reasons. I want to chronicle my journeys as puppet master, as well as provide other aspiring puppet masters with ideas.
If you have any questions about anything, feel free to message me here or on twitter @perilous_loop. Thanks.
